سری GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-Gaming G1 مدل جدید مادربردهای قدرتمند شرکت گیگابایت می باشد که از جدیدترین و قدرتمندترین فناوری ها و امکانات روز دنیا بهره می برد که علاوه بر دریافت استانداردها و گواهی نامه های معتبر، جوایز متعددی نیز در زمینه طراحی و عملکرد دریافت کرده است. از مهم ترین ویژگی های این مدل می توان به پشتیبانی از پردازنده ی Support for Intel® Core™ i7 processors/Intel® Core™ i5 processors/Intel® Core™ i3 processors/Intel® Pentium® processors/Intel® Celeron® processors in the LGA1151 package، پشتیبانی از حافظه رم، پشتیبانی از تکنولوژی های روز دنیا، استاندارد کامل و طراحی زیبا نام برد. گیگابایت در این مدل از تکنولوژی های روز دنیا بهره برده و همین موضوع سبب شده تا از چیپ های جدید برای پشتیبانی از رم های مدل DDR4 بهره ببرد که بسیار قوی تر و سریع از نسل قبلی آن یعنی DDR3 می باشد.
